About & Methodology

Why you can cite this.

What this site is. AVDriverHub tracks autonomous vehicle legislation, deployments, and their effects on professional drivers — for drivers, policymakers, the public, and the AV industry alike. The Legislation, Deployments, Industry, and Data sections are neutral reference material. The Workers First Initiative is a clearly labeled advocacy section representing driver and worker interests.

Sourcing standard. Every legislation entry links to the actual bill text, Federal Register notice, or court filing. Every deployment entry links to a company announcement, filing, or dated news report naming a source. We do not summarize a summary — if we can't find the primary document, the entry says so.

Update cadence. Each tracker entry carries a "verified on" date showing when it was last checked. The goal is a weekly pass on active items and same-week updates on major developments (a bill passing, a new city launch, a court ruling).

Corrections. If something is wrong or out of date, flag it — a factual reference site is only as good as its willingness to be corrected quickly and visibly.

Funding & independence. This section will disclose, plainly, any grants, sponsorships, or paid listings the site accepts once they exist. Industry directory listings are unpaid and factual; if a paid tier is introduced, it will never affect what appears in the neutral tracker data.
